Wish lacks the dynamic grab of Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me (1987) and the awesome brooding rush of Disintegration (1989). Yet this outstanding album, like all the Cure's best music, runs on its own brash logic, making a virtue of its emotional polarities. Wish is the ninth studio album by British alternative rock band The Cure, released on 21 April 1992 through record label Fiction in the UK and Elektra in the US. Upon its release, Wish was the Cure's overall highest charting album, and most commercially successful in the band's career, given its debut at number one in the UK and number two in the United States, where it sold more than 1.2. As is the norm with the Cure, the b-sides are hard to separate from the album as a whole, and some of their greatest are culled from the Wish singles: 'The Big Hand', 'Play', 'Scared as You'. Pornography Tracklist. One Hundred Years. Wish or the magnum opus. Later hailed as one of the key goth rock albums of the ‘80s and considered by many hardcore Cure fans to be the band.

Galore: The Singles 1987–1997 is the second singles compilation by The Cure. It contains singles from the years 1987–1997. The song 'Wrong Number' is the only new song on the album.
